Millimetre length

Foot length in mm with your phone

Shoe charts care about millimetres. A phone AR scan reports heel-to-toe length in mm (plus ball girth) so you can map to EU/US/UK charts without squinting at a paper ruler.

Manual method: trace the foot and measure heel-to-longest-toe in millimetres with a ruler. Phone method: complete the guided AR scan; length is the primary size input. Existing ARFits scanning copy states length and ball girth to within ±2 mm of a podiatrist scan (about 99% accuracy) when guidance, lighting, and surface are adequate.

From mm to a size label

  1. Capture length (mm) for both feet; use the longer foot.
  2. Capture ball girth when possible — width changes size choice.
  3. Run shoe size converter for chart mapping.
  4. For a specific brand/model, prefer size recommender offsets.

Do not invent tighter tolerances

This page intentionally reuses the on-site ±2 mm / ~99% language from the foot-scanning explainer. No new millimetre marketing claims.

Frequently asked questions

Should I measure one foot or both?

Both. Feet often differ; size from the longer foot and consider girth differences.

Is millimetre length enough alone?

Length is primary, but ball girth / width is why two feet with the same length can need different sizes.

Where is the ±2 mm claim from?
