Shoe size recommender

Enter your foot length and a brand. We map the length to a base size, then nudge it for how that brand typically fits — so you start from a better guess than a generic chart.

Find your size

Tip: measure heel to longest toe, standing.

How this recommendation is calculated

  1. Your foot length is converted to millimetres if needed.
  2. We add a small fitting allowance (≈10 mm) to your bare foot length, then convert to a base EU size using the standard relationship EU ≈ (foot length in cm + ~1.5) × 1.5. EU is then mapped to US and UK using standard tables.
  3. We apply the selected brand's typical fit offset. If a brand tends to run small, we nudge the suggestion up; if it runs large, down; and leave it for true to size.

This is a starting estimate based on widely-used conversion values and generalised brand reputations — individual models, lasts, and widths vary. Brand offsets are directional guidance, not official sizing. A guided AR foot scan that also captures ball girth gives a more reliable per-model result; see how foot scanning works.

Need to convert between systems instead? Use the shoe size converter. Sizing clothes too? The clothing size converter does the same across brands like H&M, Zara, Uniqlo and Nike.

Frequently asked questions

How does the size recommender calculate my size?

It converts your foot length to millimetres, adds a small fitting allowance (about 10 mm) for toe room, converts that to a base EU size using the standard relationship EU ≈ (foot length in cm + ~1.5) × 1.5, maps EU to US and UK with standard tables, and then applies the selected brand's typical fit offset.

What does the brand fit offset do?

If a brand tends to run small, the suggestion is nudged up; if it runs large, down; and it is left unchanged for true-to-size brands. These offsets are directional guidance based on generalised brand reputations, not official sizing.

How should I measure my foot length?

Measure heel to longest toe while standing, in millimetres or centimetres. The recommender accepts roughly 180–360 mm (18–36 cm); values outside that range are flagged as out of range.

Is the recommendation guaranteed to fit?

No — it is a starting estimate based on widely-used conversion values and generalised brand reputations. Individual models, lasts, and widths vary. A guided AR foot scan that also captures ball girth gives a more reliable per-model result; see how foot scanning works.
